I thought it was time for a change around here. Our blog now has a new fall look to it, like a new back to school outfit. I hope you like it.
So Anneli and Sandy flew back to Sweden today. We have had a really nice week with good weather and plenty to do. I have been working and going to class, the girls have gone shopping and sightseeing. Friday when I finally had some time off we took the Staten Island Ferry. It was so nice to get out on the water after two sticky weeks on Manhattan.
When we arrived on Staten Island we decided to take a look around. We found nothing. I didn't do any research before our trip, but I really thought there would be more. Boring restaurants and no shops. I had imagined a cute little town with cafes and flea markets. We bought some food anyhow and sat with a gorgeous view of the Manhattan skyline. Then we jumped on the ferry back and watched as the rain clouds came nearer and nearer.
Vilka hetingar;) Nu åter i Svedala. Det är så klar luft och tyst-känns overkligt. KLM hade slarvat bort Annelis bagage så det var kvar i Amsterdam där vi mellanlandade när vi kom tillbaka till Sthlm. De skulle skicka de direkt hem till henne.
